Hard Red Spring Wheat Varieties for 2012
Year after year, wheat varieties are constantly being released in order to fit grower needs. Therefore, it is imperative to research the validity of each one of these varieties across different environments. By testing these varieties, we are able to make recommendations based off of performance, and identify which growing region displays the most conducive environment over multi-year data. The types of characteristics that should be evaluated when selecting a variety should include yield potential, protein content, straw strength, plant height, disease, and maturity.
Some varieties descriptions are available below, for other interpretation please contact us (701-454-6427).
